But without the ability to perform the full backup on the hard drive or SD card it's rather useless. Bold 9720 looks interesting because it is newer than Bold 9900 and has larger battery. BlackBerry Protect offers Password Keeper backup but it is an online service which can be shut down any time, so it's not a reliable option. However, email backup is said to be incomplete and there is no backup of any configuration settings, sounds, or password keeper. The app seems to backup (to SD card) contacts, memos, tasks and calendar events. (free app still available in BB World) might be of some help here.
